KONIK XL bee-shaped candle

Ceramic items that were, and still are, found in almost every home in our village – the cockerel, the kumants, and the konik from Vasylkiv majolica (my mum gave one of these cockerels to my dad back in 1979, for example).
I’d become so used to these roosters and little horses that I thought everyone had them. Especially when you’re a little girl with nothing else to do but study the patterns on the rugs and the flowers on the crockery in your grandmother’s sideboard — whether you like it or not, you remember things like that for the rest of your life.

These charming, naive, nostalgic wax figurines, inspired by Vasylkiv majolica, are now also embodied in our candles.

Candle dimensions: 14 x 11 cm, burn time – 8 hours.
We pack each candle in a box filled with hay.
