Top macramé from the “Skrypnykivka” collection
The “Skrypnykivka” collection tells about the language and the importance of preserving it. It's about the heyday of all things Ukrainian, when linguists from all over the country created a spelling and preserved the specific features of the Ukrainian language. Later, this spelling, the “skrypnykivka,” was banned by the Soviet government. It erased the real Ukrainian language from memory and use.
The black knitted top was created using the macrame technique. Tassels were left at the bottom. And a tag on the back.
The illustrated word “at sunset” was once used to describe the time at sunset. They knew it.
